Aims of the course: To introduce students with a non-science background to the relationship between humans and their geologic environment, with emphasis on geologic hazards, natural resources, waste management, and global change.
Background Required: This course is intended for (but not limited to) students registered in faculties other than Science.

Midterm Exam: Tuesday, Feb. 20th from 10:30-11:20 in WSC Rm. 55 (regular class time and room). Please bring a #2 pencil to fill in the scantron portion of the exam.

Final Exam: Will be held during the exam period (April 14-30).  Please bring a #2 pencil to fill in the scantron portion of the exam and your student ID.
