Practice!

Learning web design is like learning any other skill. You can't show up to your lesson once a week and expect to be proficient. It takes practice time. Whenever you've got a spare 15-30 minutes or so in the lab, I encourage you to spark up Dreamweaver, and play around a bit.

Exercises

These exercises are intended to focus you mind on the tutorial we've just covered, and to give you a chance to work independently. They are not intended to stress you out.

The only required part of them is that you publish them to the server, and then link them off your home page. Apart from that, they don't have to look good, or even finished. The main thing is that you try to apply the lessons you've learned in the tutorials.

They don't have to be published until near the end of term.
