Web Design & Architecture -- LIS 9723 logo

News & Updates

This week we'll look at usability in more depth. In the lab, some more critiques and with any luck, we'll produce our first web page!

The trial version of Dreamweaver is still available, if a little hard to find. You'll need an account with Adobe (it's free), and you should be aware the trial is only good for 30 days from the time you install the software. You can find it at: www.adobe.com/downloads/

Web Design & Architecture — LIS 9723

Welcome to the class!

Any website combines content, graphic design, interactivity, technology, and usability -- it sounds like a simple recipe, but if that was the case, there would be fewer websites with problems. This course discusses -- through theory and practice -- how to combine these ingredients to create well-designed sites that are delicious.

You can download the course outline as a PDF.

Notice: the Internet is full!
