Mid-term test: Sat. 18 November |
Final examination: April, 2001 Date TBA |
- The mid-term and final exams will use multiple choice format.
- They will include true-false type questions.
- Each exam will be computer graded (Scantron). This eliminates subjectivity, and allows us to grade the exams in a short time period. (Remember, there are 125 students taking this course at Kings this year).
To Prepare:
- Preparation for the tests requires that you:
- Attend class regularly,
- Keep up with the weekly readings,
- DO AS MANY PRACTICE QUESTIONS AS POSSIBLE.
- Be sure to know the key words for each week's readings, and for each lecture. Key words are presented at the end of each chapter in your text.
- The exams will concentrate more on traditional course knowledge. In contrast, the assignments are more directed toward the application and integration of course materials.
- Practice questions are found at the end of each chapter of your Methods text, and your Statistics text.
- There are also questions in the student workbooks for each of these texts.
