General Information

Bio 1222 or Bio 1223 are prerequisites for most second year Biology courses.  A mark of 60% in Bio 1222 or Bio 1223 allows you to continue in the Biology program.  These courses also fill the science requirements of many other programs and professional schools.  Please check the UWO academic calendar for details of specific program requirements.

Bio 1222 and Bio 1223 cover the same content but in slightly different ways.  Bio 1222 has two lectures a week while Bio 1223 has three lectures a week.  Each course also has a three-hour lab/tutorial period per week.  Both courses do the same lab exercises.
