Aims of the course: To introduce
students with a non-science background to the relationship between humans and
their geologic environment, with emphasis on geologic hazards, natural resources,
waste management, and global change.
Background Required: This course is intended for (but not limited to)
students registered in faculties other than Science.

Laboratory Exercises: 4 sections - Tues. 2:30-4:30, Wed. 10:30-12:30,
