Victoria Island Kimberlites

• Exploration has been ongoing since 1994

• recovered garnets indicate that kimberlites sampled both peridotitic and eclogitic mantle

• source kimberlites have intruded along a fairly cool geotherm (38 mW/m2)

• SnowyOwl>GoldenPlover>Longspur>Phalarope>Whimbrel
