Module Response - Email (Electronic Portfolio)
1. Text Response - Chapter 5. Respond to Question 3, p.122. (Discussion Questions)
2. Text Response - Chapter 8. Respond to Question 1, p. 179 (Activities Section)
3. Critique a current (1996 -1999) journal article relating to Primary Education, (a one- two page attachment).

Module Response - Caucus
1. Read the articles assigned for this module and post a response to the question listed on the Caucus site.
Note A response, for our purposes, is not a retelling. It is a relating to your experience and a reflecting on the implications, future directions.

Contributions - Caucus
1. Go to The Sharing Room. Post the titles and authors of five picture books or early novels that support a content-area subject.
2. Go to Reflection. Post a reflection on the social and political influences in the primary classroom. (Chapter 11 of your text expands the ideas presented in Chapter 8.)


Practicum
1. Plan the whole group, small group and centre activities for your Thematic Study. Review the activities you have planned. Do your activities demonstrate learning through integration and inquiry? Do they provide good opportunities for meaningful integration across three or four curriculum areas?
2. Email your planning sheets which link the expectations, the learning activities and the additional materials and facilitating actions.
