Lexia 5
From the moment that she had met the Fraulein at the academy she had felt an attraction to her every word and gesture. At night in her room she liked to fantasize that these feelings were reciprocated but last week’s catastrophe had proven her wrong. They both had been so embarrassed that they fled the cottage without even saying good-bye. Her tears flowed more freely now. What was the point of visiting the Fraulein a week later? It was highly unlikely that she would agree to speak to her. Of course, this was not the first time that she had been rejected like this so it was likely all her fault. That’s what Eve and Harriet would say. She curled up before the fire and decided not to tell them about any of it. |
