Where:

Sim (Q, D_i) = similarity between Query Q and Document D_i

d_ij = weight of Term T_j in Document D_i


w_qj = weight of Term T_j in Query Q

Nota Bene:

1. Same measure can be used to compare two Documents D_i and D_j
2. _{Values range from 0 (no similarity) to 1 (identical)}
