Task Instructions

Establish and inform your TA of the group makeup along with student number and name.

Obtain approval of the job that you wish to ergonomically analyse.

Using Chapter 3 and classroom Powerpoint presentations as a guidance document analyse a job of your group’s choosing.

The breakdown of evaluation will be as follows:

Total %: 35%

Executive Summary: 10% 1 Page with key points (positive and negative) succinctly presented. (2 pages will automatically start your mark out of 8% and over 2 pages will start this portion of your mark out of 5%)

Use of Analysis Tools: 10% Correctly use PDA, Task Analysis, NIOSH, SNOOK Tables, Biomechanical Analysis, Additional Analyses appropriate to the evaluation of the job

Evaluation of Short and Long Term risk factors: 5% as outlined in the course.

Short and Long Term Recommendations: 5% Use of principles and questionnaires outlined in the course

General Layout and Readability: 5% Did you make a case for the changes and recommendations or were you general and vague. Be specific and critically analyse your outcomes
