LAB # 1: KIN 2241A Biomechanics       Fall 2013

DUE:
Give completed LAB assignment to either Peter Wegscheider or Bryn Zomar in any 2241A class prior to but no later than the class on Wednesday 25-Sept-13. This is the only method of submitting your completed lab assignment. Late submission will not be accepted and a zero will be assigned.  

 

FORMAT:
The assignment must be typed (size 10) on one sheet of standard 8.5” x 11” letter paper (double-sided if necessary). Assignments that exceed one piece of paper will not be accepted and a zero will be assigned.

 

ASSIGNMENT:

Using the below links of Hurdling in the sport of Track & Field, thoroughly observe the body segmental motions of the leading leg, trailing leg, leading arm, trailing arm, and trunk beginning when the foot of the takeoff leg (aka trailing leg) touches the track prior to takeoff on the near side of the hurdle and finishing when that same foot touches the track on the upon landing on the far side of the hurdle.
