OBITUARY

CARLETON (sic) C. COVEY

Carleton C. Covey, 7 Forest Acres Court, died Thursday at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.

Born at Halifax, he was a son of the late Thomas and Elsie (Hubley) Covey.

A major in the armed forces during the Second World War, he started the Covey the Stationer business which he operated until his retirement. He was a member of the Fredericton Rotary Club, Fredericton Curling Club, Fredericton Golf Club and Garrison Club.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian (Sadler); a brother, Thomas, Lunenburg, N.S.; and a sister, Mrs. J.G. Lang (Marjorie), Toronto; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. H.G. MacKenzie officiating.

J.A. McAdam Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Flowers are gratefull declined.

Interment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
