OBITUARY

James D. Sadler

SAN DIEGO — James David (Jimmy) Sadler, 64, of 1054 Devonshire Drive, San Diego, Caif., died Friday at his home.

Born in Chatham, he had lived in Halifax most of his life and was a well-known musician and band leader.

He is survived by his wife, the former Frances Eva Mae Gastonguay; five sons, David and Lorne, both of Halifax; and Bobby, John and Peter, all of San Diego; a brother, Bob; and two sisters, Lillian and Margaret.

The body will be cremated in California.
