OBITUARY
Mrs. David Sadler
The communities of the Miramichi
and Bay Chaleur will learn with deep regret of the death of at an
early hour this morning of Mrs. Margaret Isabella (sic) Sadler,
wife of Mr. David Sadler, who passed away at 3:15 o'clock this morning
after an illness of four months duration, aged 46 years.
Mrs. Sadler was born in Charlo,
N.B., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dickie, and is survived
by her husband and a family of five children, two daughters, Lillian
and Margaret and three sons, James D. Robert and John, and to them
in their deep misfortune, the sympathy of the entire community will
go out. There also survive three sisters, Mrs. J. H. Taylor of Campbellton,
Misses Bernice and Lillian of Charlo, and three brothers, Robert
Dickie, James and Murray of Charlo.
Mrs. Sadler was a woman of very
high, sterling qualitites, one who had endeared herself to the community
in which she came to make her home. She took a great interest in
church and philanthropic work and was a foremost worker for every
good cause.
Her passing at the comparatively
early age of 46 years is a great loss to the community as well as
an incalculable bereavement to her family and relatives.
The funeral will be held tomorrow,
Thursday, afternoon from her late residence Upper Water street.
Service at the house will begin at 2:30 o'clock and the funeral
cortege will start at three for Riverside cemetery where interment
will take place.
