Synopsis of the MIT 144F Lab Assignment Policy:
- All lab assignments are due at the lab following.
- Read and follow the lab instructions closely; deviations from instructions
can be detrimental to your mark.
- Grammar and spelling will be marked; illiterate assignments will fail.
- Make sure your section number and TA's name is on every assignment.
Marked Labs:
- Handed in at the lab following:
- Receives full marks earned and full comments.
- Handed in before the Monday following the due date (before
9 a.m.):
- Receives full marks earned but no comments.
- Handed in after the Monday following the due date (after
9 a.m.):
- 10% deducted from total mark earned per day and no comments.
Pass/Fail Labs:
- Handed in at the lab following:
- Receives pass/fail earned and full comments.
- Handed in before the Monday following the due date (before
9 a.m.):
- Receives pass/fail earned but no comments.
- Handed in after the Monday following the due date (after
9 a.m.):
Synopsis of the MIT 144F Project Assignment Policy:
- Project is due in class 2 December 1997.
- After 8:00 p.m. 2 December 1997:
- 10% deducted from total mark earned per day (days deemed to end at
5:00 p.m.).
- Read and follow the Project instructions
closely; deviations from instructions can be detrimental to your mark.
- Grammar and spelling will be marked; illiterate assignments will fail.
- Make sure your section number and TA's name is on your Project assignment.
Nota Bene:
- Exemptions from this set of policy guidelines will be granted only
under exceptional circumstances.
- Documentation must accompany all exemption requests.
- Contact your TA immediately if an exemption becomes necessary.
- Important Advice: Exemptions will be more likely to be
granted in direct proportion to the strength of your documentation and
the amount of time prior to the due date that you make
your request. After-the-fact exemption requests will not be considered.
