A violinistic left hand, with the forearm (or in
clearer imagery, the wristwatch–even though he's not wearing one)
rotated towards the ceiling.
Because this hand is fairly large, it will probably be possible to play fairly well in tune in all but the lower positions (1/2, I). Nevertheless, insist from the beginning on the proper hand position that will allow the index finger to extend "up" and cover those lowest "frets." The index-finger curl seen here is bound to frustrate accurate intonation, sooner or later. |
