The hand is much too far over
the bow stick, especially on the little-finger side, and probably the
thumb is coming in to the frog on a line parallel to the stick, rather
than gently supporting from beneath.
This right-hand problem is the opposite of the "airplane strut" straight little finger, usually the product of the thumb pressing and collapsing inwards, and some inward wrist rotation. Both these flawed positions are commonly seen in beginners, and often in trying to correct one extreme, the student adopts the other one! Emphasize balance of index finger/little finger/thumb, and the idea of three "force fields" established by these (using the string as a fourth), "trapping" the bow, rather than images of "grip" and "holding."
