Rights and the Canadian Constitution

Case Comment

The case comment is a discussion of any two cases listed on the case materials page on the course web site. The selection of cases is to be discussed with the instructor by October 21. The discussion should briefly outline the facts of the case, the issues and the outcomes. Then it must assess whether or not these cases reflect judicial activism or judicial deference. The comment should be no longer than 6 pages (1500 words). The review is due on November 4 by 4:30 p.m. EST. Students are required to submit it by email in Word or Wordperfect formats.
