1. Using the subtraction method, compute the size of each
main effect (A, B) and the interaction effect (AB), and
indicate whether each is significant or nonsignificant.
2. Draw a labelled diagram of the findings.
3. Construct a new set of cell means that would indicate a
significant main effect of completed vs. uncompleted tasks
and a significant interaction effect, but no significant main
effect for depressed vs. nondepressed subjects. For
purposes of this exercise, assume that any non-zero
difference is significant.
