Mission Statement

Since 2007, the Health and Aging Masters Students (HAMS) of the University of Western Ontario’s Health and Rehabilitation Sciences program, have been working to create a database of biological, psychological, and social health assessment tools used within older adult populations. This database aims to provide students, interdisciplinary professionals, and researchers, with access to information about tools they may require for their research or clinical practice. We leave you to explore these pages with hope that we may help inspire you to think critically about the bio-psycho-social dimensions of aging when designing your own research project. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to add to our collection of assessment tools or if there are any adjustments that need to be made to the existing tools on this site.
