TMJ MRI

This 20-year-old lady was complaining of pain in the TMJ. Her symptoms also included clicking. Following examination and panoramic radiograph it was determined that she suffers from temoro-madibular disorder. Further investigation using MRI confirmed an interior dislocation of the meniscus. Following fabrication of articulating models, a Michigan splint was designed.
