Here is an essay written by one of my former students for an assignment very similar to the first assignment for this course.  While the essay has a couple of problems, this is a really great example of a first university-level philosophy assignment.  It's clearly-written, well-organized and displays a good knowledge of the primary text.  This is the kind of thing you should be aiming for.
