Patient Presentation
- A 72 year old woman has been referred to your care from emergency.
- The
emergency record depicts that she has collapsed due to the
loss of consciousness.
- There is evidence of facial trauma.
- Her EKG
results appear normal.
The following questions are asked to ascertain additional patient
history:
- The patient described several profound light-headed episodes
over the last month.
- These episodes were not related to standing
up suddenly.
