The patient DOES need a pacemaker as definite sinus node dysfunction is seen and the patient has definite symptoms related to the bradycardia.

Indications For A Pacemaker In SSS
- Class I
- Class IIa
- Class IIb
- Class III
  - Asymptomatic patients, where bradycardia is largely a result of long-term drug treatment.
  - Bradycardiac symptoms not established to be correlated with a low heart rate.
  - Bradycardia is due to nonessential drug therapy.
