Offer a mini- workshop presentation on learning strategies to your staff and as part of a staff meeting? (This would be a real challenge in two high schools I worked in but maybe not so in others)
Have you offered a learning strategies workshop to parents in your school via school council initiatives?
We need to empower others to make time and take time to teach students/their children to think about how they learn, to discuss and "play" with learning. Learning strategies taught and used effectively in classrooms at all levels impact positively on all students.
